Start your day and week with setting some good intentions! I want to start this new Monday meditation ritual with you guys and hope that you want to join me! I love taking 5-15 minutes in the morning to breathe and set a good intention, connecting with the universe and my body.
This morning I have a 5-minute meditation for you to start this beautiful new week!
Let’s do this!
(-First put on your favorite calming acoustic song or melody/ meditation song that is about 5minutes long or you can also just estimate the time -about 5min – in your head while listening to the silence/ maybe the ocean or rain outside)
-Find yourself a comfortable seat either in the bed, on your yoga mat, outside in the grass or maybe on your bedroom floor/meditation pillow. Close your eyes and sit with your palms upwards + an open chest.
-Breathe in through your nose and breathe out through your mouth 5 times, listening to your breath – accept any thoughts, but just let them be and do not engage in them.
-Visualize yourself in a happy moment: What are you doing? What are you feeling? What can you see around you? What does it smell like? Allow yourself to feel good. Continue to breathe in through your nose and out through your nose. Let yourself feel happy and visualize yourself doing the things you love.
-Visualize yourself smiling, maybe this makes you smile a little or even laugh. Continue to breathe in and out.
-When you are ready, open your eyes again! Take the good feelings from the meditation with you into your day and spread some good vibes around!
