Green Smoothiebowl

Green Smoothiebowl

I hope you are having a nice day/morning! No matter the mood you are currently in though, this green smoothie bowl might just make you feel radiant and ready for anything! Full of healthy greens, energy and with a touch of tropical vibes -it is  a healthy and fun (green) way to start your day:

Makes 2  smoothie bowls/(small coconut bowls):

1/2 banana

2 cups frozen mango

4 cubes frozen coconut milk

2 handfuls of spinach (fresh) or estimate similar amount frozen

2 tablespoons algae (or greens) powder  (I like to use a mix of algae and greens and today I used the alkaline greens from Tropeaka,  but you can also use plain Chlorella, Spirulina or wheatgrass, barley grass or any other green that you prefer.)

a splash of  100% pure apple juice

2 cups coconut water

1 scoop vega vanilla protein (can be skipped, or substituted with other vegan protein source/powder)

Toppings:

Hemp seeds

Coconut flakes

Directions:

You can also use regular clean cold water if you do not like (or have) coconut water -also make sure to adjust the liquid so that you get a thick and creamy consistency because I find that this depends a little on the blender you are using.) What I like to do is to add the dry/frozen (other ingredients) first and then just 1/2 of the liquid in the recipe and then try blending before I eventually add until I have the desired consistency (the rest of the liquid or less/maybe sometimes more).
